Species Spotlight: Scooter Blenny

The Scooter Blenny may be small, but its personality is anything but. Constantly scooting, hopping, and inspecting the reef floor, this bottom-dwelling dragonet brings nonstop curiosity and energy to the aquarium. Scientifically known as Synchiropus ocellatus, it inhabits Indo-Pacific lagoons and reef flats rich in microfauna, where it hunts with remarkable focus.
