The Half Black Angelfish, Centropyge vroliki, are an excellent addition to a reef tank as they are not as aggressive as other Angelfish species. They may nip at brainy LPS corals if underfed – they won’t mess with sessile inverts, however.

The Half Black Angel should be kept in a tank of 50 gallons or more with plenty of live rock hiding places, the only dwarf angel in the tank, and feed on a mixed diet of meaty foods and algae based foods.
