The Red Spotted Sand Perch, also known as the Red Spotted Sandperch, Sandhopper Blenny, or Red Stripe Sand Perch, features a gorgeous white body with red spots and stripes. Growing about 3 inches long, the Red Spot Sand Perch can be found hopping around the bottom of the aquarium in search of small inverts to eat.
It is generally considered reef safe and is best kept in tanks of at least 20 gallons, a sandy substrate, and plenty of live rock. There should be a lid to prevent escapes as this blenny will jump.
Other than similar looking species, the Red Spotted Sand Perch will pair with most tank mates and be a peaceful community fish.
