The Longjaw Wrasse is named for its thin, protruding snout. Adult Longjaw Wrasses have elaborate and unique patternings across their wrasse-shaped bodies. Like most wrasses, ample hiding spots should be found within the tank. A substrate of sand is recommended. The Longjaw Wrasse will thrive in a tank community if housed with other semi-aggressive fish. Monitor with small invertebrates as the Longjaw Wrasse will feed on them. Also be sure to have a lid on your tank as the wrasse may seek to jump out. The Longjaw Wrasse will eat both frozen meaty foods and dry flake food.
