The Red Head Pseudochromis, Pseudochromis Elongates, or Elongate Dottyback is rare species that originates from the Sulawesi and the Molucca Islands of Indonesia. It is a 2-inch dottyback fish that is hardy and can easily feed upon pellets and frozen foods. An Elongate Dottyback necessarily has a black body with a red-orange tail. This is why; the Red Head Pseudochromis is also called Floppy-Tail Dottyback. Semi aggressive, it makes a great addition to Nano-reef aquarium. A Red-head dottyback generally reaches to a maximum size of 2.5 inches only.
