The Rainbow Pseudochromis is an attractive, colorful pseudochromis with a long and slender body. It is a rare fish that displays multi-coloration of white, black and yellow on its body. An adult Rainbow Pseudochromis reaches to a maximum size of 3 inches. Therefore, it can be confined to a small tank with a capacity of 29 gallons. A Rainbow Pseudochromis is generally peaceful toward other corals and small fish and, however, may turn quite aggressive in the company of other Pseudochromises. It can sustain peacefully in a reef aquarium with multiple hideouts and live rocks. Since these Rainbow Pseudochromis fish are commonly called decent jumpers, they need to be kept in a canopy-fitted aquarium to prevent them from escaping out of small holes. They can thrive on a carnivorous diet of Mysis and brine shrimp, frozen foods, and meaty foods.
