While this isn't the 'aquarium store', I thought it was (mostly salt water and like big fancy tanks, not a typical pet store) the employees were helpful and kind. I brought my daughter in while we were passing through. She is obsessed with snails. While they didn't have much for freshwater anything for sale, the cleric was so nice and helped find an appropriate snail for our tanks at home from a display tank.
My daughter is thrilled with her 'Delaware Gary' (all snails are named Gary like SpongeBob)
They could have turned us away immediately, and I just really appreciate that they gave my kiddo a memorable experience.

I bought a couple of corals during one of their online auctions after reading about it on a reefing forum a couple weeks ago. Always happy to try out a new vendor and they had a nice selection available.

Corals were expertly packed and insulated! The water temp was around 68⁰ on arrival- not bad considering the cold weather. One of the frags had come dislodged from the plug during transit- upon closer inspection, it was not from a lack of glue, so the carrier probably jostled it around a bit during shipping. Needless to say, the frag was looking a little rough after knocking against the plug in transit, and there was some color fading within 24 hours after arrival likely due to stress. That being said, it's been almost a week and both frags are looking good. The one that came dislodged is opening up and feeding and seems to be regaining it's lost color.

Overall, very happy of my experience with F2F. Corals were exactly at pictured, healthy (with the exception of shipping stress), and there were no signs of any pests or nuisance algae during acclimation and dipping. I'll happily order from them again in the future! Just wish I lived closer so I could check out the shop in person- from the pictures it looks like they have a nice set up and selection.

Bought a candy koi betta from this store. He is healthy and very personable! All the bettas look very healthy and are given their own decorated tank. Every aquarium in the store is also beautiful; it looks like they really care about their fish. I would recommend shopping here instead of big name stores (Petco, PetSmart, etc.).

What. Gem stopped by on the way home. Nick inside was great. I was looking for some copepods they were out. He gave me a great tip. Wanna know what it was go stop by. Anyway ended up buying some more Zoas which look great. They have a Facebook and online auction I suggest you hit them up. I can see myself coming back btw I live in southern Maryland and it’s definitely worth the 3 hour trip.

I discovered this place over the summer when my daughter (5) asked for a betta fish for her birthday. After a lot of research, I learned that the large popular retailers do not breed nor care for their bettas properly, so I was very happy to find Frags 2 Fishes. Nick was kind and knowledgeable when I went to pick out my daughter’s betta. I will definitely be going back because they have so much to offer!

John sold and set up my complete system and he continues to maintain it biweekly. He has a wealth of knowledge and is very honest with his advice. He never tries to sell me anything I don't need. Quite the contrary he talks me out of purchasing things that I don't need. The store is well stocked, and his staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Their prices are always fair. Don't miss their weekly online coral auctions!

We have 5 freshwater tanks; 24 gal, 20 gal, 10 gal, and two 5 gal. We buy more fish supplies from F2F than any other store. Their selection of freshwater fish is decent, but it seems saltwater aquariums are what they stock for. Their staff is kind and very knowledgeable.

This place is top notch and you can tell as soon as you open the door. All of their tanks are extremely clean and all the plants,fish and corals are healthy and thriving. Upon walking into store,which by the way looks more like an art gallery your first thought is "i cant afford anything in this place" but then looking at the prices i was blown away they can actually compete with a petsmart or petco and frags inventory is far superior to these places. The sales people are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful at the same time making you feel welcome and unpressured. I highly recomend stopping in and checking them out you wont be diaappointed.

Outstanding customer service. Amazing attention to detail fast installation by the owner himself self. Top quality. A one stop shop. Highly recommend starting a new tank in the hobby with these guys. My wife and I recently in the last 6 months found this amazing shop! Their fish and coral are very healthy! The staff is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and they listen when you talk about what you are looking for. We mentioned we were looking for a few specific not so common saltwater fish, to our surprise that following week they had the fish in-stock (we did not special order the fish). John spent a lot of time with us discussing possible ideas of how to help control our nutrients in our reef tank and suggested the Pax Bellum n24 algae reactor. We had spoken to a few different shops about our issue and this was the first time it had been mentioned, we couldn’t be happier that he did because it works amazing!

Frags to Fishes was a great place to see. I went with my Daughter and I was star struck to observe the fish, live plants, corals and much more. I was searching the internet for available lawnmower blennys and this place popped up. I noticed they were from Northern Delaware (I'm from southern), I decided to order the Blenny for pickup since I would be up there later that week. I admit I was a little hesitant to order since I had never heard of them. Today, I got there and the people actually were extremely nice and knowledgeable, the store was kept inimmaculate condition and I was truly impressed by their selection of saltwater fish, coral and all the supplies they have. Everything looked very healthy and I cannot wait for my next visit. I highly recommend Frags2Fishes!!

Every time I have been to the store it has been a great experience. I am a big fan of the online auctions that are held every weekend. I have watched John get the store ready for the Big Grand Opening over the past few months and I am probably as excited as he is! Can’t wait for this Saturday!
